These images above are examples of Pulp Paper. Pulp paper is created using water soaked recyclable paper, a blender, a strainer, a mold, a deckle, a tray of water, a sponge, a towel, and a flat surface. The process starts out with tearing up pieces of paper and soaking them in water for a minimum of 20 minutes to break down the paper for blending. Using the blender, add the paper and additional water to the mixture and blend. Afterwards add the mixture to a tray of water until it reaches a thicker consistency and use your hand to sift through the mixture. Once it has reached the desired consistency place your mold and deckle in the mixture and gather up the material and strain with a forwards and backwards motion. Be sure to let the excess water drip off the sides before placing on the towel. Flip a towel on top of the paper mold and use a sponge to absorb the remaining water as best you can. Then place the paper mold on a flat surface and allow to dry for several days.
