Finger knitting is a task that involves using your fingers and a spool of yarn. The following video links are how-to tutorials I made for finger knitting.




The next step of the process is to tie the finger knitted strands together. The above images are two 3-strand finger knitted scarves. All you need for this is a piece of yarn slightly longer than the lengths of the two strands you are tying together. Tying the strands together is simple, you draw your yarn from the first loop on the edge of the first strand and into the loop on the second strand. You then pull it tight and move on to the next adjacent loops, taking the stray piece of yarn into the next loop on the first strand and into the loop on the second strand. Repeat the process until the strands are tied together end to end.


The process of finger knitting is quite simple and can be done using just your hands and yarn to create knitted strands.
